FAQ'S
Q) What ages are the people who attend?
A) Generally expecte will be mostly in their mid 40's & 50's with a few older, and a few younger.
Q) Do people really meet at the parties?
A) Absolutely! Tons of friendships and relationships have been formed, and many marriages consummated. What a great way to meet new people when you can see about a hundred or more people of the opposite sex; to see how they talk; to see how they walk; to see how they dance: to see how they shake hands; to see how they dress; to see how they are groomed; to see how they smile; and to be able to look into their eyes!
Q) What do I get for the $10 cover charge?
A) You get IN ! (just kidding, sort of). Actually, if you arrive during the first 1/2 hour of the party, the admission is only $7, and also, discount and sometimes FREE passes, are distributed for future parties, to people on the dance floor! You'll get to see 100-200 nicely dressed people in a comfortable atmosphere. Usually, complimentary hors d'oevres will be served during the first hour or so. All very well worth a $10 bill.
Q) How do we know that all the people attending are single?
A) Here's the honest answer: experience says that you can feel very comfortable in the environment. First of all, after more than 3,000 singles events that I have produced, there have been unbelievably only a very few incidents of someone married trying to pass themselves off as single.
Q) Do people come alone?
A) Absolutely! This question is most often asked by women. The niteclubs where we hold parties are always in comfortable, safe surroundings. So ladies, come alone or certainly come with friends.
Q) Will I feel comfortable coming by myself!
A) Sure! Just stroll in to the party, go right over to the bar and put a drink (of anything) in your hand, so you'll feel like you're in the party!!(and also this will give you something to do with your hands. )
Q) Do you have plans for other activities!
A) Yup again! Co-ed softball (not serious - just for fun) happens on Monday nights in UTC, McElroy Field on Governor Drive, from the beginning of daylight savings till the end of daylight savings (approx May1 - Oct 1). Other interesting, fun events will be planned soon!
